DIRECTIONS
Southport benefits from excellent road links to the M57, M6 and M58 making The Captain’s Quarters Guest House easy to reach by car or coach. Lord Street is the main Southport thoroughfare and from here it’s just a few hundred yards to the door.
From the south or east – Once on Lord Street turn left onto Nevill Street at the Cenotaph traffic lights. Waterstone’s Bookshop will be on the left corner of Nevill Street. Take the 2nd right into Bath Street just in front of Leo’s Bar and Captain’s Quarters Guest House is on the same side as Leo’s Bar about 50 yards down.
From the north – Once onto Lord Street turn right onto Nevill Street at the Cenotaph traffic lights. Waterstone’s Bookshop will be on the left corner of Nevill Street. Take the 2nd right into Bath Street just in front of Leo’s Bar and Captain’s Quarters Guest House is on the same side as Leo’s Bar about 50 yards down.
For those visitors wanting to leave the car at home The Captain’s Quarters Guest House is just a ten-minute walk from Southport train station. With regular connections to Manchester, (Preston & Ormskirk via bus on Lord St), as well as a direct service to Liverpool City Centre, Southport is easy to reach by rail.
